Connie's Priorties for Lakeland
Public Safety
Connie supports keeping neighborhoods safe and secure for Lakeland's residents and businesses. Promotes the implementation of evidence-based programs to enhance Lakeland's safety and security. First among those are utilizing funds already appropriated to institute Neighborhood Watch Programs throughout Lakeland. Connie supports collaboration with the Shelby County Sheriff's Office to ensure that resources and support are available to maintain fast response times and to keep Lakeland's neighborhoods secure.

Strong, consistent support for the Lakeland School System. Focus on ensuring lasting educational excellence for every student. As Commissioner and liaison to the Board of Education, Connie has worked directly with school leaders to make sure Lakeland's students receive the resources they deserve.
